I would vote YES for a political list. I believe that virtually all our
flame-wars and personal attacks on the list have been on political topics.
They constitute a high volume of traffic and are usually separated from
other Extropian topics with very little overlap or crosstalk. This would
seem to be the most obvious way to divide the list if any dividing is to
occur at all. We could even have different moderators or different
standards of debate for political discussions and the main extropian
discussions if we wanted.
