    I second that opinion. Let the mail flolw! :-) I can delete what seems unintersting. I can't speak for everyone, but it seems to me that the people on this list are too intelligent to wish to limit their topics of interest. Also, due to the nature of discussions here, I don;t see how something can be narrowed down into a specific catagory such as "politics". Most topics feature some sort of political view. There's no way to get away from it. BIG science affects us all.

      Personally I never have a problem with list traffic. I skim
      subjects and read what interests me. It's easy to kill
      a subject. Multiple lists would be okay but personally I
      would rather just manage my incoming e-mails. Exi list
      takes a few minutes a day unless something interests me.

        I have had several suggestions about our prosperous and challenging list. I'm taking care of them.

        One suggestion was to start a new list for political postings. Let me know if you want this list, and/or if you think a new political list would help decelerate the traffic that is bottlenecking our conversation.
