I only discovered it about a year ago. It's one of
the most interesting pieces I've come across in years.
Because it deals with--and actually offers an answer
to--a question almost taboo in our time--casting light
into pitch darkness--and because of Twain's rep as a
wise-ass with a dim view of humanity and a
correspondingly astute ethical sense.
