Hi Olivia.
Thanks for your response. We're currently in the process of re-organizing
some of the operations and administration of Extropy Institute, and as
such, there are a few transitional issues which may arise. List approvals
are currently requiring some basic contact information: phone number, fixed
residence, and e-mail address. This is due to some abuses of the list in
the past few months (e.g.: personal attacks). Otherwise, the lists are all
free and unmoderated, with the contact info being used for security
purposes only.

As I iterated on the extropians list a few weeks ago, Extropy Institute is
currently doing just that. ExI members will be receiving their monthly
updates in the next week, including more information on the upcoming ExI
member retreat. Beyond that, there are a lot of projects Extropy Institute
has on the go to complement the Extropian community.
