Randy! Re-read the last two sentences he wrote. He answered your question
    before you even asked him.

But Europeans share more of your genes, Anders. Going with the whole concept
of nepotism as gene-survival strategy, why would you want to help African
cultures, instead of helping your own European cousins?

Or are you unconsciously striking an altruistic pose, hoping to better pass
on your own genes by doing so?

Using the word 'genes' together with a posessive pronoun is so 20th century,
Randy. The technology is already pretty much there (albeit still in its
infancy) for us to insert and deactivate genes as we choose. Goodbye Darwinian
evolution, hello Lamarckian evolution. Goodbye genetic determinism, hello
    memetic determininsm.

Don't know about other people, but I for one would like for African genes and
memes to be alive and well alongside my own Slavic ones, in the very likely
case that they have something useful I'll need to borrow at some point.
