Spike, don't count biotech down and out yet -- yes
there are obstacles but it only takes a couple of
"miracle" drugs like Gleevec and that will change
very very rapidly. When push comes to shove -- people
will vote with what keeps them alive. Most of the
counter-trends you cite are going to have a very
difficult time making a concrete case in that area.
So we aren't fighting a battle of substance but
a battle of volume. Difficult yes -- but one would
at least hope that in the long run that "reality" talks.
