I was not stating my interpretation of Dr. Atkins' views. I was stating my
own views. I disagree with Atkins, and on this subject I am in good company
with his adversaries like Drs. Ornish and Pritiken.

Imagine the Atkins diet without fatty cheese and butter and without fatty
farm-fed meats like sausage and bacon. Still relatively low-carb, but with
less saturated fat and more nutritious fruits and vegetables.

That is my diet perspective. It is also the perspective of homo sapiens over
    millions of years of evolution.
