I wonder if any list members could give me advice about Linux.

Specifically, I am looking for a filter program for my browser, to get
rid of ads. I downloaded the FilterProxy but it asks for installing a
huge number of additional modules to work. Isn't there anything easier
    to install?

Another problem - where can I get the Adobe reader for Linux? I
downloaded it from the Adobe site, but it won't even open with the
fileroller. The other pdf readers are quite clumsy, and it looks like
Adobe files are not quite pdf-compatible.

I am also having problems with the soundcard and my RedHat installation
support has already expired. Where can I get advice, preferably cheaper
than the 40$ RedHat want for their help?

I am sorry to raise the issue on the ExI list - please forgive me.

    Long live Linux!

    Rafal
