Seems to me there was a book that presented this theory published maybe a
decade ago or so..... Was in modules of the mind or....?
Also, the mystic Gurdjieff had similar theories which he presented in the
form of parables in his: Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson.....and, of
course, Jungian dream interpretation touches on this...to say nothing of
Plato.
But why are we so oblivious to it without special efforts?
