Actually, I'm still somewhat intrigued by the idea of making an ingestible form
of gold. If mold on rye bread can result in LSD, who knows what heating gold to
5,600 degrees in an argon bath might do. If I had the lab to do it, or the
chemistry expertise to explain why it can't be done, I'd spend the effort to
settle the issue.
