Many people, like me, set the background color on their PC to something
other than white. Gray in my case. This becomes the default background color
for IE pages too, unless overridden by the bgcolor attribute in the body tag
for a page. So your web pages look gray and blotchy to me...you should
probably fix that.
(Twice today already...must be Leave Out The Bgcolor Attribute Redesign Day
or something).
