I think I may have left this unclear. Certainly I think it would be a major
problem if Max-2002 could not remember anything about Max-2001. When I
mentioned forgetting everything not mattering I was thinking of much longer
intervals of time -- decades. I realize this wasn't clear from the passage
above.
