Don't take it personally. This battle has been going on, on the Extropian
mailing list, for quite a long time. I apologize if you got caught in the
crossfire; you are not, by far, the worst offender. It's just that
someone needs to step up to the plate and accept the onerous
responsibility of predating upon weak ideas. Relentless mockery is the
only form of negative feedback available to non-moderated email lists,
where you can't roll your eyes or leave the room or start private
conversations instead of listening to the speaker, as one does when in a
physical meeting-place. So I will courageously shoulder this herculean
task until such time as I get bored.
