Ha ha! But that is just the point these bozos...ahem...Fine Young
Extropians...are trying to make--we American citizens have NO RIGHT to
"filter" immigrants! Laughable! well, we need to take back that right--and
soon! Before it is too late...

That right there is the scariest aspect of the propagandization of the
immigration "debate" (and let's face it, it can no longer be called a
"debate," not with the current level of knee jerk demonization, an excellent
example of which has played out on this list in the last 24 hours).

Also frightening is the fact that filtering immigrants is effectively
filtering memes, and therefore filtering immigrants is effectively *nation
building*. We are building the future, our future. And if there was EVER a
group of homo sapiens who should have the ability to understand the
implications therein, it would be the Extropians, many of whom plan to be
frozen, and trust in future citizens to continue to maintain and improve
upon the stability of the USA, and to continue to accrete knowledge.
