Doesn't surprise me a bit, It never, ever dies. This sort of thing is based
on emotion not evidence, so counter evidence has no effect on the believer.
Take the shroud of Jesus crap for example, after carbon 14 proved it was at
least 800 years too young the believers were quiet for a while but now they're
back.
Actually I think the face is a portrait of almost photographic realism, it's
just that Martians had a face that looked like a badly eroded hill.
