Yes, I agree with many of the things that you have said in this thread, or
the same running argument contained in several threads. Very much, really...
However, Extropianism is really a front, or a voice, for the ideas that can
possibly save our lives--if we can push them into the forefront of the
public debate. And so therefore we should try to avoid cluttering up the
list with chitchat, just in case the stray journalist should pop in.
Ironically, I say this even though these same people you have been arguing
with have no doubt already killfiled me for my failure to "adhere to the
doctrine", for lack of a more descriptive phrase (or for the lack of time to
write such....)
