Or a hundred thousand eensy patrons who weren't
billionaires... or a lot of people willing to do
volunteer work... given enough volunteer workers, I'm
certain we'd eventually be able to turn a profit..
especially because of the efficiency one could work
into such a project... for example, if you wanted to
use photoelectric cells somewhere, how about a small
number of cells and a large number of aluminum mirrors
for focusing sunlight? I could almost see it now:
extropian children's groups going from door to door,
collecting scrap metal and donations... speaking of
which, why *aren't* there any Extro-scouts?
