BTW: I get to talk fast & sloppy 'cause I'm not a physicist. When I say
"Casimir energy" I am of course referring to free space zero point
energy fluctuations as depicted by Dr. Forward in small rectangular
volumes bounded by conductors.
I suppose a case could be made to call that Forward energy, based on the
Casimir force. I think I like that.

Assuming system energy is really conserved, these little pistons ought
to suck up heat from the surroundings. Or I'm missing something.
