It is indeed rare where I've met someone with such arrogance that, in one
short sentence, dismisses the beliefs of over 2 billion people. Even though
I may concur with you (which is irrelevant to this discussion), I would
never, never be so arrogant as to dismiss the heart-felt and life-long
beliefs (religious or otherwise) of a sizeable fraction of humanity. As we
talk, there are hundreds of thousands of Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus,
and others who are highly respected scientists, pillars of their community.
According to you, their beliefs are, in your words 'easily disproved by
definition'. Clint, I'm not saying you, or they, are right, just to have an
open mind, and be a bit more humble, and more tolerant of other peoples
beliefs, ideas and thoughts. You'll go further in life.
