2 points:
Cancer is caused by toxins. People who are around toxins are highly likely
to have cell mutations, causing cancer. People who inhale and/or touch
certain toxic material will most likely get cancer. The toxic substance
does not have to be extreme heavy metals or poisons. Mild toxic substances
will do the trick. The issue is usually the type of toxin and the range of
exposure, rather than the percentage of toxicity.
Cancer does have a genetic link. People whose
parents/grandparents/siblings have cancer have a higher rate of getting cancer.
The bad news is that just because you have one type of cancer, it does not
mean that you will not contract a different type of cell mutation. So, a
person could get cancer from a toxic substance and get another type of
cancer from an inherited gene.
Stress plays a minor role in getting cancer, but a major role in overcoming it.
