><snip VERY NICELY PUT critique>
>Being unable to relate abstract verbal thought to negative affect is
not a charming personal quirk...<snip>...There comes a
point where stupidity stops being innocent, and it doesn't really matter
anymore whether you have to be emotionally evil as well as verbally evil
to genuinely be a bad person.
Well I don't quite know about tha point :) I agree all the way up
to "genuinely be a bad person"; how about harmful person? He's
a bad (evil) person has generally been used way too frequently
as a good reason to off people... Mostly because said people
don't think like you do :)
>I think that line is crossed when you start talking about the use of
nuclear weapons to commit genocide against those darn foreigners
because paying attention would be too inconvenient.
I'ld say the line is crossed a lot earlier than that;
when u start killing (or causing the death of) people.
And not just by choice of method (nuclear weapons),
or by scale (genocide).
