    That is a great comparison. In fact both rely on an expectation,
    except that cryonics relies on a positive expectation.

    In Switzerland, this "fad" was in fact turned into a law, I think, and
    new houses built had to have such shelter, and public shelters were
    made to accomodate the people without private ones...
