Creating a >human intelligence in over-confidence that destroys humankind and
may not even be a great improvement or self-sustaining. Another possibility
is creating some other technology X that ultimately does us in like some
nanotech possibilities. No currently already existing higher entities are
required for (1) to be applicable.
