Depends. Today's employment market is so Degree intensive that someone
with good predictive skills has a significant barrier to entry into the
market. I, for one, have made a number of predictions on this list, and
so far as I know, every one that has reached maturity has come true.
For example, I predicted oil prices would drop below $25/bbl from their
$36/bbl levels within a week of the start of the Iraq war, when
everybody else was saying oil prices would skyrocket. I was right.
Where does one go to get a degree in precognition? Why would one even
be needed if an individual posesses such skills already?
The fact is that a few people have paid me for my predictive skills as
well as for other aspects of my deep intelligence. One possible reason
is that those people who really know the worth of accurate prediction
have the assets to employ sophisticated computer modeling systems.
