If you read Leo Strauss' Natural Right and History you will find the
natural right guys don't derive natural right from history either. In fact
it
is from history that a case can be made against natural right.
Natural right seems to derive from trying to establish what is
required by man as man and then to establish natural right by reason.
More I can't say on this subject as we are already on the boundary
(perhaps beyond <G>) of what I know on the subject.
