### How about piggybacking on an existing network? Set up accounts and
profiles with your cell phone provider, with continuous matching of profiles
based on their spatial proximity - as soon as you get within range of a
specified type of person or location tagged by the system, your cell phone
rings with an automatically generated message (or gets an email). A hospital
could query your medical records stored by the phone company if you are
located in their ER (with logging and supervision to prevent unauthorized
access). Restaurants could tell passersby who express interest in some types
of dishes that they are available. Etc. etc.
