Well, we could certainly fly ultralights off its deck, and XCOR could
certainly launch the EZ-Rocket from it, perhaps even the Xerus (don't
know what it's take-off distance is going to be). It would certainly be
useful for helicopters. All that hangar space for Extropy Studios,
Extropy News Network, and the Extropy Squash and Handball Club.

Lets say we get 1000 extropes and transtopians to buy in at $10k
apiece. That would give each person cabin space and we could buy the
ship and have plenty of cash available for remodeling and improvements.

Imagine the opportunities for non-stop sushi!!!! We'd have to develop
    treatments for mercury contamination....

With multiple (usually 3) flight elevators, you could mount them there
for deployment at night. Network them together for an interferometer.

How difficult would it be to compensate for wave action and vibration?

Nah, I think we ought to buy a nuclear reactor for the ship from the
North Koreans and REALLY scare Dubya.
