Jeepers, at $6/mmBtu my energy costs are going to go through
the roof. Same for many of you folks in CA. Also produces
an economic threat -- if fertilizer gets more expensive
farmers will use less, yields will decline, U.S. food
prices will increase and exports will decrease.
Not good, not good at all. But it does support my point
that there is a link between inexpensive energy, the rate
of economic growth and the rate at which the singularity
will develop.
