    Harvey said:

"If nobody makes a complaint, it implies that we unanimously want
the personal attacks to be allowed."

And in a different thread said:

"This is another logical flaw that I have been seeing a lot on the list
lately: The assumption that there must be only two choices, so that by
looking at one we can assume something about the other. Damien is assumed
to support regimes he hasn't posted against. I have been assumed to support
communism when I argue on an unrelated topic with an anti-communist. A
person who questions our President is assumed to be anti-American. A person
who posts unfavorable battle statistics is assumed to be supportive of
    terrrorists. The world isn't binary!"

Interesting, Harvey, that you commit the same false dichotomy that you so
frequently criticize others on. Just because I dont complain when someone
presents personal attacks doesnt mean I condone those personal attacks!!! The
    world isnt binary!!!

Seriously, here you directly state that lack of an opposing voice directly
implies support. So which is it? Is Damien supportive of communism when
we have no posts suggesting he thinks otherwise of it, and the only regime
he feels it worthy to criticize is the bush regime? Using your words "If
nobody makes a complaint [about communism], it implies that we unanimously
    want [communism] to be allowed"

More seriously, I suspect most members of the list just dont feel it to be the
problem that you think it is. Perhaps i am incorrect though.

    Michael Dickey
