That is all very interesting but I asked for an example of an actor's
performance being influenced by the opinions of a Party Commissar.
The "I Love Lucy" show was as apolitical as any show can be. It made
millions of people laugh to the point of tears, but I don't think it
persuaded a single soul to join the communist party.
