I hereby declare Global Warming to be a dead issue. See the following:

    http://www.spacedaily.com/news/climate-03q.html

"[A] a dataset that shows global atmospheric warming at the rate of
about 0.07 degrees C (about 0.13 degrees Fahrenheit) per decade since
    November 1978."

First off, leaving out the fact that the time period the data set is
based on is ENTIRELY within the last North Atlantic Occilation warming
    cycle.

Leaving out that in the 1970s, when the last NAO cooling cycle was
coming to a close, world scientists were making hay about a coming ice
    age.

We are left with the fact that the findings are ENTIRELY within the
range of influence expected by changes in Earth orbital dynamics and
    changes in solar flux.

Despite what a scientist quoted by the site says, there is now NO
evidence of anthropic causes, and we can all rest easy about so-called
'global warming'. It won't be catastropic. Even if you ignore the
significant support for NAO-based influences, if you irrationally
extrapolated the warming data outward, this would come to about a
degree and a half of warming over 100 years, far less than the ten
degrees claimed by the UN Climate Change reports.

The vast difference between reality and UN claims supports my
contention that political pressure for carbon sequestration and
limitation legislation is nothing but a trojan horse for massive and
widespread welfare state bureaucracies funded by massive taxes on
    fossil fuels.
