Well, I will readily admit that the *reason* conservatives are
against the EPA is mainly because of further and additional
changes that this agency would like to make. And so, yes, the
"changes" that the opponents of the EPA would like to restore
the status quo ante.
But even if the Department of Education and the U.N. did nothing
*further* than they have continued to do these past decades,
conservatives want to be rid of them. (In much the same way that
socialists wish to be rid of corporations, which, shockingly
enough, aren't that much older than the U.N.--only a factor of
two or three.)
