So long as you apply the term consistently to describe the dealings of
masked luddite saboteurs, of luddite special interest groups, and of
    organic industry special interest groups.

To exclude GM but to allow hybridized plant species is a double
standard that has no scientific basis. Hybridization is a shotgun
method of forced evolution. GM is more like a rifle. Which is more
    likely to cause collateral damage?

The problem, Charles, is that this is a double standard. Luddite groups
conspire in secret, they lie, cheat, sabotage, and spread
disinformation throughout the 'organic' community, so much so that
there are people on this list that believe their lies. Monsanto and
other for-profits are not permitted to act similarly because they are
deemed to be tainted by a profit motive.

We in this group could act against luddism, but we don't. Pro-Act is
stillborn and every suggestion I've made in the last several years has
been shot down by naysayers on this list.
