Currently linked from Cryptome is this neat little photospread w/o any
commentary(1). Note how the man on the left appears to be happy but is
(at least slightly) scowling, while the boy on the right is smiling but
doesn't appear too happy at all.
Watching Bush on television, I think he has learned that scowling hides
the smirk. If he scowls thru the whole speech, he can avoid ever
smirking. (Of course, he can never match Nixon's jowl-quivering scowl).
The boy's smile looks a little trepiditous, and possible interpretations
include a) trying to suppress horrific pain, and/or b) trying to
suppress horrific sadness.
What might be fun is photoshopping in comix-like speech balloons, for
example the boy might say 'Gee, I wish someone had given Bush a
blowjob!'. This sort of ties in to a passage from Robert Anton Wilson's
_Schrodingers Cat_ trilogy, where, in one universe, the US president is
thusly serviced and decides not to blow up the world that day.
Which of course leads directly to the Clenis(TM), source of all evil,
which the republicans are possibly making insufficient use of (2).
