    The abstract was meant to be taken at face value, as evidence of the risk of
    low-cholesterol. My statements were separate.

    Excess dietary cholesterol tends to cause excessively high serum cholesterol
    so it is not unreasonable to assume that the complete elimination of
    cholesterol and saturated fat will tend to make excessively low serum
    cholesterol more likely, at least in some percentage of individuals. I do
    not know if your vegetarian-like diet attempts to eliminate all cholesterol
    and saturated fat, but if so then I think it would be wise to keep a close
    eye on your serum cholesterol to be sure it stays within normal range.
