    There is no paradox in this at all. One who opposes war
    would be interested in the goings on at Bletchley Park,
    for the breaking of the Nazi enigma code shortened the
    war, saved countless lives on both sides and prevented
    untold human suffering.

    I am pleased that the invention of silicon transistors
    postdated the era when computers were made from gears,
    cams and linkages. A good mechanical clock has a beauty
    to it that my pentium cannot match.
