So you do see a reason to avoid some meats as unhealthy. I'm not sure why
you cannot grasp the vegetarian viewpoint, since it seems to be only a
difference of degree from your own.

Sounds healthy and delicious! I have a craving to do the same thing... with
tofu. A big slab of tofu, fried up firm, marinated in extra virgin olive
oil and red wine. Do you think my body can tell the difference between the
aminos in your dinner and mine? Do you think my protein molecules turn out
any differently because they come from a different source? It seems silly
to argue that we are adapted toward meat and not toward tofu if they both
break down into the same amino acids.
