    The other night I watched again a classic Buffy ep, `Once more with
    feeling', done as a musical. Very funny and even quite moving at one point.
    There's a puzzling line spoken by the former vengeance demon Anya:

    “Dawn may have had the wrong idea in summoning this creature, but I’ve seen
    some of these underworld child bride deals and, and they never end well.
    Well, maybe once…”

    I can't put my finger on this. The Xian Virgin Mary? (But that would be
    with a god rather than an underworld being.) Some internal mythos ref?

    I know, not a scintilla of extropian relevance.
