    I find it quite interesting that most of the diet posts on here are trying
    to figure out what humans have always done so that we can follow suit.
    Usually, I would expect us to be trying all sorts of new and improved diets
    that had never been done before, or diets that were cooked up in a
    laboratory and supported by scientific experiments. I understand that
    evolution produced a lot of great things (like us super-monkeys), but I
    thought we were trying to transcend beyond evolution. I may have an
    irrational bias, but I am assuming that a super-natural diet of my ancestors
    will limit me to the average human lifespan.
