I think it goes against transhumanism to ignore evolutionary science. If you
could show me that we evolved on a diet of gasoline then I would drink it
with every meal. :)
In any case I think I already responded to your objection in my post to
Damien that followed, in which I wrote:
"And I do deviate from the paleodiet for such reasons. I take many
supplements and medicines that I think show promise for life-extension
beyond the default diet. As a simple example I take far more vitamin C each
day than would have been accessible on a daily basis by our paleolithic
ancestors. I think there is enough evidence for C to deviate from the paleo
diet in this respect. I also take other more exotic nutrients and medicines
in an effort to enhance the default paleolithic diet."
