This is true, but this propaganda is intended for a western audience
(as well as westernized arabs/muslims) to propagate the meme that the
US invasion is morally equivalent to Saddam's gassing of 5,000 Kurds.

If our invasion is morally equivalent, there is no validity to US
altruistic motives, and France, Germany, and Russia are justified in
    their crass obstructionism.

As for the poor showing of their military, I wonder what they think of
not only the complete surrender of the Iraqi 5th Corps in Mosul without
a shot fired, but the apparent complete evacuation of Baath leadership
from Tikrit, allegedly gone to Syria.

Another is wondering what the arab world thinks of the enthusiastic
cooperation of Iraqi policemen with the US in ending the looting and
zeroing in on Baathists trying to fade into the woodwork.

Reminds me of those anti-smoking commercials that state some really
nasty fact about cigarettes that most people don't know and then
watching the mental lights come on in the depicted crowd. I see many
lightbulbs lighting up across the arab/muslim world, to the dismay of
many others in and out of the muslim world...
