Two thirds of calories from plants and a full third animals is not
completely out of line with my viewpoint either. Most estimates I'm seen
range from about 30% to 50% animal based.
Loren Cordain, Ph.D., has however estimated as much as 60% or more from
animals. Certainly there were also regional differences.
