    Cool post, and congrats!

I'm at the other extreme, all spidery, and wishing I could get more upper
body muscle, partly for strength and partly out of hopes for girl-attracting.
I did seem to double my strength when I first got dumbbells in 1999, which was
very useful -- I have a pedestrian lifestyle, even for shopping, so halving
the effective weight of gallons of milk was very meaningful. But it's been
hard to get much further. And while I want to gain weight up there, I don't
want it down there -- seeing the 30yo pot bellies at work made me swear to
stay away from that. So if I ate more to bulk up I'd have to be really
careful to be working out well at the same time.
