I will deal with gathering statistics if I get time during this
week of vacation or after the 21st. But I will ask one question
to chew on in the meantime. Do you think that the US government
(not the exception) can eath over one half of income directly
and much more indirectly and run a federal deficit of many
trillions of dollars and have no impact on the standard of
living of the people? Do you believe it has nothing to do with
the economy being in the dumper now? Did we actually grow in
capabilities and efficiencies so much as to totally offset the
negative effects and then some?
Just questions to kick around.
