    Yes, its lighter and made out of better materials then the regular glasses.
    It can be shaped into other shapes rather than merelely, lenticular. It has
    the capability of re-drirecting photons in a manner that until 100 days ago,
    physics had never seen. Thus, such a material(s) with such qualities, will
    impact scientific research, at first, and then become a likely utility for
    industry.
