    That is a rant, not an argument. Reread and try again, please.
      If we are headed toward a roughly imperial US model then that
    is not the same as "a free, democratic, constitutional republic"
    at home and certainly not abroad. The rule of might is not
    extropic in the least. The US has a spotted record regarding
    what it spreads and supports abroad.
