    Thank you, Damien Sullivan, for pointing out your amazement. I don't get
    it either. Amara's post of a few days ago with a link to Richard Dawkin's
    article in the Guardian was excellent. I've been busier than usual lately
    and have not followed this list much, but for the most part the postings
    have made me feel sadder than I already am about all our
    already-too-precarious lives.
