Reform is certainly needed but it's a bit too early to know if this is a
disastrous mistake or not; so far at least things have gone much better than
I expected (no mass oil well fires, no Scuds aimed at Israel, very light
American casualties, troops only 50 miles from Baghdad after only one week)
but the shit could still hit the fan in the next few days and I worry a lot
about the occupation and reconstruction. I just hope George Bush knows what
he's doing.
