    According to the BBC the private contract for rebuilding Iraq being negotiated by the Americans explicitly includes:

      a.. the privatisation of Iraqi public industries and Iraq's integration into world "globalization"
      b.. a buy-American policy
      c.. an anti-abortion policy.

    The first point will be of interest to Syria and Egypt and the Saudis. Privatisation will mean American business buying in where locals have no capital.
