Increasing knowledge, to take individual initiative in making the world
better, is increasing extropy. It should be a given that any extropian
should be against any individual, group, or organization that aids or
supports tyranny, as tyrants are specifically violators of quite a
number of extropian principles for many millions of people.
While my sigfile specifically singles out pacifists, I would say that
anybody who isn't taking personal action to fight tyranny is aiding and
abetting it by doing nothing. Pacifism is more than just an opinion or
an attitude, it is also a lack of action. In a spiritual sense, it is a
sin of omission.
